This modern-style house, designed by Svetlana Lepikhova, showcases a stunning interior that combines minimalism with classic elements. The use of functional and valuable materials, along with eco-friendly trends, sets this design apart. Solid wood and exposed concrete prevail throughout the interior, and even the copper elements adorning the kitchen facades hint at the eco-friendly approach. Situated on a mountain in the bend of The Volga River, this house offers breathtaking panoramic views, making minimalism the perfect choice for this project. Although simple in appearance, the interior is filled with saturated colors, rich textures, and noble materials. It is the ideal space for those who savor every moment, just like a sip of premium wine, which is why the burgundy color scheme was chosen.
Unlike typical factory-made furniture, every piece in this interior is exclusive and specifically designed for the project. The attention to detail and custom craftsmanship elevate the overall aesthetic and ensure a truly unique living experience.
Working alongside Svetlana Lepikhova in the layout design was architect Daria Rypinskaya. The project commenced in autumn 2018 and was completed in winter 2019 in Samara, Russia.
This exceptional design was recognized with the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The design is respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, providing fulfillment and positive feelings, and contributing to a better world.
